Technical Manager

This position requires a PhD or BS/MS degree and equivalent administrative competence to direct groups of professionals in related market or technology areas. You directly supervise the work of up to ten professionals and technicians in two or more groups, project teams, or a business unit.

You report to a Technical Director or business unit manager and work under limited supervision. Consequently, you work has direct, shared impact on market and product/process results, and major sales impact.



As a Technical Manager, you propose and control budgets, and you are accountable for:
  • directing groups with related market or technology functions or
  • directing a major program or project with high technical or commercial profile
