Chemist III or Engineer III

This position requires a BS/MS degree or equivalent competence. Responsibilities may also include supervising or training up to four lower-level professionals or technicians.

In this position, you report to a Group Leader (or higher-level professional, depending on the size and nature of the lab and the technical activity performed). You act on unreviewed problem solutions with manufacturing or the customer. And you work under moderate to limited supervision. Therefore, you have contributory, direct impact on market and product/process results, plus moderate sales impact.



You plan, schedule, execute work, and analyze and apply data necessary to solve complex problems relating to:

  • improving product/processes, where little precedence exists
  • developing new products/processes
  • maintaining/improving product or product lines
