Sales Incentives
As an Assistant Manager, Store Manager or Sales Rep, you can earn incentives based on the
performance of your store or sales territory. Simply put, the more your store or territory
achieves, the more money you can earn.
The Assistant and Store Managers’ incentive plans consists of two portions:
- a quarterly total sales incentive (4 payments per year) and
- an annual controllable contribution incentive (1 annual payment).
Here’s where those accounting courses pay off. Total sales is defined as total net sales
from the P&L statement and controllable contribution is gross margin dollars less service and
controllable expenses.
