CLEVELAND, April 19, 2006 -- Arthur F. Anton was elected to the Board of Directors of The Sherwin-Williams Company (NYSE: SHW). Mr. Anton is President and Chief Executive Officer of Swagelok Company, a leading manufacturer and provider of advanced and innovative fluid system products, services and solutions to a wide range of global industries, including chemical and petrochemical, oil and gas, sanitary, power generation and semiconductor.
In addition to his responsibilities at Swagelok Company, Mr. Anton is a director of University Hospitals Health System.
