Direct Registration
The Direct Registration System allows your shares of Sherwin-Williams Common Stock to be issued or transferred electronically without requiring the issuance of a paper stock certificate. Instead of receiving a paper stock certificate, your shares are held in your name and tracked electronically (in book-entry form) on Sherwin-Williams' records, which are maintained by our Transfer Agent, The Bank of New York.
